Stress comes in different forms and it leads us away from our dependence on God and moves the focus to us. Stress can come from family members jobs, bills, debt, friends, and coworkers. It comes from the decisions that we make. Stress is prevalent in everyone’s life. Stress comes from trying to do it all by ourselves in solving the problem. We as humans cannot fix every problem and every issue. We must depend on Him. Once we place our trust in Him, God and heaven goes to work for us. Our issues become His issue. Our destiny is found when we are not in our stress.
Psalm 56:3-4 – Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), in God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Matthew 11:28-30 – Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Philippians 4:6 – Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Prayer – Father in Jesus name, I refuse to walk in stress. It is not healthy and is ungodly. You said that I can ask you for anything and I know it is within your will to rid stress from me. Please take this burden away from me, Amen.
