Waiting for God is hard. Sometimes you think He is not listening or seeing what you are doing. It makes you want to take action yourself because we believe He does not care or to slow for Him to respond. The good news is, He sees and hears everything. He sees your future and your past. He sees stuff that we don’t know while we see only one dimensional. He hears every prayer, every cry, and every scream. He wants the best for you at the right time.
Wait for Him. Wait on Him. There are some things that He is trying to work in you while you are waiting. Ask Him what you are waiting for and what you can do in the meantime. Waiting is part of the process similar to a seed that turns into a blade. It pushes through the ground. It weathers the storm, then transforms into a bud, which the process is now complete. Our process is not finished until we are turning into the flower that our Father meant for us to be.
Lamentations 3:25 – The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
Psalm 27:14- Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord!
Habakkuk 2:3 – For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Prayer – Holy Spirit, help me to wait on God during this trying time. Help me to see the good that He is doing for me. Holy Spirit strengthen me, gives me the courage to face my daily trials. Let me not go ahead in front of you. Father, can you tell me what I am waiting on in Jesus’ name, Amen?
