“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11)”.
You are fearfully and wonderfully made by God. His thoughts of you are not evil; his thoughts of you are peaceful. He wants the best for you in this life. His end will always benefit you. In today’s society of fame, fortune, power, and selfishness, have you ever wondered the real reason why you are here? Am I just supposed to make money? Am I supposed to be an average Joe working not achieving anything? Am I supposed to be broken down, dependant, and worried about life? Am I supposed to have bad personal habits that I cannot break? “God, what is the truth about me?”
“God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:26)”. You are created in the image of God. What type of image do you think God has of himself? You are to have the same image of God. God gave assignments to both the male and female and told them specifically these things: “Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28).” Ask yourself if you are fruitful. Ask yourself if you are multiplying God’s image in the earth.
I began to ask God to release the truth about myself, about my actions, about my choices, and about my character. When I did, it was totally the opposite of what I was thinking and acting. God knows the expected end in your life. He knows where he wants you. He knows where you belong. He does not want those bad habits. He does not want you to be frustrated and emotional. He wants to release the truth in your life. “And you know the truth, and the truth shall make your free (John 8:32).”
Sometimes we go through life living a lie of what we ought to be. The media makes us believe that we should have certain money in our bank accounts. We are made to believe that our life does not account for anything. We are made to believe that we should carry on with certain habits because that was the way we were raised. Don’t believe the lie! You are created in the image of God. You have power to change yourself. You can change the world where you at. You don’t need a platform. Start asking and work the plan now when God reveals it to you. Ask God to release the truth in your life and start living.
