We praise people, we praise our favorite team on Sunday. We praise our spouses and children. We praise our bosses and inanimate objects. The one who wants our praise and adoration more than anything else is God. He is the author of our life. He is the one who blesses us with our career, family and everyday substances. He does it so much that we don’t recognize what small things that He has done. Just think, without Him where would we be. He is in every aspect of our life regardless of us not acknowledging him. He is listening to our prayers and seeing what we do in every decision rooting us on. All He wants from us is to thank and praise Him for what He has done and what He is going to do.
Praising God opens us opportunities that we would ever imagine. Jesus fed five thousand with 2 fishes and 5 loaves of bread just by thanking God what we had in his hands. It multiplied beyond belief. Our thankfulness can open up opportunities for more than we think.
Psalm 100:1-5 – Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.
Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!
Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Prayer – Father, thank you for allowing me to praise you. Thank you for what you are doing with me today and in the future. For your grace over me is unparalleled to any material thing in Jesus name, Amen.
