“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;  Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.  The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed (Psalm 103:2-6)”.
 A benefit is an advantage that no one else gets. Companies today are taking benefits away that people have had for many decades. Funding of retirement, social security and health care are threaten to be eliminated. 
“Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation (Psalm 68:19)”. God bestows us benefits that we do not think of. Benefits like life, breath, food, clothing, shelter, finances, jobs, etc. There are  too many to lists. He is kind to us because we are his children. Unless we don’t ask, he never allows his child to go without.  For David said in Psalm 37:25-26, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. God benefits are your benefits. We don’t have to be in a rat race to get it. With a rat race, the rat continues to run and chase something but never achieve his goal. With us, God gives us those things that we need in order for us to be effective and to bring him glory.
 So the next time you fill your benefits are being threatened – just thank God for his benefits that he gives you.
