Are you tired of the same thing over and over again? Are you wishing that things would change in a split second? Is your faith stale wishing you had more? Jesus said to Peter, “Come to me”. Peter saw something in Jesus that excited him as he asked the Lord if he could walk on the water. Peter was ready to give up his safety for adventure. Peter got out of the boat and started walking on water. His faith keeping focused on one thing only – Jesus. He kept walking on the water until his focus was distracted by the water and strong winds.
It’s time for us to get out of the boat and start walking. The walking is in reference to listening and following the commands of Jesus. If we do that I believe that we will see more victories in our life, family and careers. We will see and experience more miracles. Getting out of the boat is equivalent in becoming uncomfortable in staying in the same situation listening to those people who don’t want to see you succeed. Let’s commit to at least getting out of the boat and walking toward Jesus. The fear and distraction of the waves and strong winds will not conquer us if we pay more attention to listening and obeying Jesus commands, which will give us more than we can imagine than by staying in the boat.
