Which one are you? Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. penned this subject from sitting in jail, fighting for justice. I ask the same question – which one are you? Are you the one that waits for the room to get to a specific temperature and are impacted by the surroundings, or are you the one that regulates the temperature and conversation and mood? I am talking about engaging discussions in the meeting instead of being a bystander. Sometimes you have to become the thermometer waiting to engage. The other times you must turn on the thermostat and ask those engaging questions and bring out of the box ideas for solutions. Your influence and branding are these attributes, and people and leaders will judge you based upon these.
Ecclesiastes 8:1 – Who is like a wise man? And who knows the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom makes his face shine, and the sternness of his face is changed.
Prayer – Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for wisdom in everything that I learn and speak, and please give me the ability to listen and bring up ideas at the right time while giving you glory. Amen
