Faith as a Mustard Seed

Get out of the boat and start walking!

I am writing this to tell you there is more life left. As I experience change and instability about the future, I know for sure that God has not or will not forget about me. Though it seems like job promotions happen to everyone but me, I am sure that God has not forgotten me.

God has a plan for you. He is guiding and directing people for your good. He hears your prayers. He sees your tears. He sees the pain in your body. He still has not forgotten about you. Yeah, I know that you are in business and your product is not selling. He has not told you to quit though others are telling you to give up. He wants you to be in position for the next customer wanting your product. We don’t have any idea when He is going to release His favor upon us. Ecclesiastes 11: 6 says to sow your seed in the morning and let your hands not to become idle because you don’t know what is going to happen.

Though you seemingly can’t find a job and your marriage is on shaky ground, He still has not forgotten you.  Continue talking to him – he has answers waiting for you.

  • Joseph – Sold into slavery by his brothers, put into prison and God allowed him to become the second most powerful man in Egypt and to save his family from a famine.
  • David – In the field herding sheep when he was picked last among his brothers to finally become King.
  • Sarah and Abraham – Thought she was too old to have a child. God in his faithfulness gave her their own child.
  • Widowed woman – Owed so much debt that creditors were going to take her sons away. God sent her a prophet to give her specific instructions and she used her actions to get to of debt.
  • Ruth – Widowed, faithfully remained loyal and served her mother in law until God blessed her with a new man, Boaz.
  • Thief on the cross with Jesus – Knew he was going to be crucified but asked Jesus to remember him. Jesus remarked that today he will be with him in paradise for ever.

I am more convinced now that God has not forgotten you.
